Nathan has studied at universities in Taiwan, China, Korea, and Japan but is currently a student at Brigham Young University. He has always enjoyed playing the piano and learning different languages. He has made piano lessons more affordable for students by providing digital pianos free of charge for students to practice at home. He hopes to share his love for piano and education with the community.
Ling grew up in Taiwan. Currently, she is a doctoral student at Eastman School of Music studying piano performance and literature. She has taught as a graduate assistant in college group piano classes and as a studio assistant in secondary piano lessons at Eastman. She hopes to help students develop strong piano techniques and a better appreciation of classical music.
Emily grew up in Salem, Utah. She started teaching piano at age seventeen and quickly learned that she had a special love for teaching and a way to care for her students. She attended Utah State University. While working on her Bachelor's Degree for three and a half years in Piano Pedagogy, she realized that she wanted to take art class again. She was able to combine her music and art degrees by composing and illustrating a children's piano method book.
Anna is currently working remotely assisting in the academy's administration works. She is your first point of contact if you have any scheduling requests or questions regarding lesson notes. She also works on organizing the weekly blog posts you can find under the "Blog Post" tab.
Eliza is a student at Brigham Young University. Her love for music and writing has made her a great addition to the academy. She loves exploring different musical genres and is currently teaching English in Ukraine!
Born in Brazil but raised in Japan, Sayuri speaks three languages fluently including English, Japanese, and Portuguese. She also studies Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship at Ensign College, and among her many talents, enjoys playing sports, baking, and cooking. Sayuri inspires confidence in her students by teaching both language and cultural fluency.
Raevyn was born and raised in Utah. She has attended the University of Utah, studying Piano Performance, and is now working on getting her degree in Piano Pedagogy. She has been teaching piano lessons for over nine years, and her love for it continues to deepen with each new student. As a teacher, she has an intuitive ability to adapt to the needs of her students. Her goal is to cultivate both creativity and confidence in each of them.
